NOV 18-20, 2022 Unfurling the SAILS
Lauren, Mike, Cody, Amelia, Cassandra, & Brian spent a weekend Hanging the "Sails" in the "Crow's Nest" upstairs bedroom. We created three seperate sleeping spaces and assembled the full/tein bunkbed. Thank you everyone for the hard work!
OCT 22-24, 2022 WAR OF THE LEAVES
Mike, Cody, & Brian spent a weekend at the cabin, visitied Karen and Mike to hang with friends, hopped rocks at Cross Lake, and burned ALOT of leaves!
MAY 27-30, 2022 MEMORIAL WEEKEND
For an adventure we hiked in to Banning State park for a picnic and waterfalls. Karen, Bob, Lauren, Mike, Brian, and Cassandra all dipped their toes in the cold water.
MAY 14, 2022 - High Water River Run
River was high with a Spring flood and we got to Kayak through the forest. Mike, Drew, Lauren, and Brian braved the fast waters for a fast ride to the bridge.
MArch 10-12, 2022 - Game Weekend
Enjoyed a weekend with friends throwing down on a few games. Spot It, Century Gollum, and Canadian Gin were a few of the favorites.
September 24-26, 2021 - First Apple Harvest
We went to Moulton's Orchard in Rush City to pick our apples. Ed, Nikki, Lauren, Mike, Emma, Beth, Brian & Cassandra made pies, crisps, and apple pudding. Oh my!
September 10-12, 2021 - fall River Ride
Laurie and her neighbors the Sheer's came up to enjoy a crisp autumn day and see the fall colors on the river.
APRIL 23-25, 2021 - Spring Opener

Jan 8-10, 2020 - The Million Dollar Bridge
Went to check out the "Million Dollar Bridge" just East of Pine City with Drew during a winter vist to the RiverHaus.
Dec 24-31, 2020 - A Quite Covid Holiday
Cassandra & Brian hung out (without even water for a bit) and nestled in for the weekend. After finishing up the flooring and it was time to burn the boxes. Ooooohhhh Pretty. There was a really good frost on the branches that was beautiful in the sunlight. Scott and Deb enjoyed a quite New Years eve with just the two of them.
Dec 11-13, 2020 - The First ANNUAL Great Cookie Bake
We had a great time hanging out and baking cookies with Lauren Beth Deb and Brian. Lauren had the favorite recipe of the weekend with her orange/cranberry with White chocolate cookies. We watched their mandalorian together and enjoyed the weekend.
OCt 16-19, 2020 - Chicago visits the sculpture PARK
We had a great time visiting with Chris, Dan, Erin, and Kat. We played games, hung out, visited Taylors Falls to see the potholes, and visited the Franconia Sculpture Garden. Laurie came to join us for the day trip. The only thing that was missing was the cup of hot chocolate on a brisk day. Chris looked but alas to no avail.
Catching up with family
It was nice to catch up and meet Erin's girlfriend Kat. We had a great time and the autumn weather was beautiful.
Franconia Sculpture Park
Mom came and joined us at the Franconia Sculpture Park and we spent the afternoon strolling through some pretty cool art.

JJ, Erin, Chris, Kat & Erin went and explored a little further to see the potholes and cliffs in interstate park
SepT 4-7, 2020 - Memorial Day Summer Wrap Up
We spent most of the weekend catching up with Chicago family. We caught a round of frisbee golf on our visit to the Rock River Cottage in Edgerton, WI before heading home. We meet a few friends at the RiverHaus on Monday to get in a little swimming and a bonfire to wrap up the holiday weekend.
Aug 25-30, 2020 - Kraken Summer Camp
Cassandra and Brian have a tradition to go camping with theater friends in August and this year we hung at the RiverHaus and had adventures. Had a great time as friends stopped by each for a few days. It was great to hang with Beth, Emma, Drew, Mike & Lauren.
Exploring Upriver by Boat
We explored a few miles up river and discovered an eight foot deep swimming hole to drop the anchor at and enjoy the afternoon. Lauren and Brian also had a lovely float the boat to the dock from Little Walleye landing.
Kayaking the Snake
Cassandra, Drew, Beth, Emma, and Brian tried kayaking the river. We started a bit above Little Walleye Landing and paddled to the RiverHaus. Drew, Emma, and Brian went on for lovely afternoon down the river to the Pokegama Lake.
A Trip to Taylors Falls
Beth, Emma, and Brian went to pick up an auction in Taylors Falls and spent the day. They saw a blue heron at the base of the cliffs in Interstate Park, stopped for ice cream, and visited the Valley Sweets Candy Store across in WI to see the dam.
